The family that prays together stays together has been the very thought process of my mind when I left the Chandra house hold today around 4:00 pm. Let me rewind the day for you so you can comprehend the wonderful beginning and ending I had this wonderful spring day with a family that is beyond amazing, it’s a great day of my life as wonderful memories were made with wonderful friends for life that are nothing less than family.

As I woke up to the no alarm that usually begins my day I laid in my bed thinking how the day would progress, I was mentally making a timeline of list of things today would entail and the amount of time I needed to spend at them to make a well relaxed and productive day. The first beginnings on usually every Sunday is a stop to the church or the temple and thanking the lord for all I am blessed with, the pattern followed graciously as it seems hard to break the Sunday routine, I was done a little after noon and headed towards the Chandra House in Leawood, as I cruised down the highway with my sunroof open and windows down and the country music blasting through the car I was totally living the dream, I couldn’t have asked for a better Sunday beginning and I knew this would be a great day for me, moreover I was excited to see Vishal, Erin, Ingrid, Mahesh uncle and the entire Chandra Clad. To describe the Chandra’s I think if I used all the wonderful words of the dictionary that relate to awesomeness I would still be understating there amazing qualities as individuals.

However today’s post is about a special women that I truly look upto, she is not only a great individual in all aspects but knows nothing less than to selflessly help others and be there for them in the most loving manner, this statement couldn’t be more true for the lady I highly respect a lot, Ingrid Chandra. To say it in a nut shell how amazing she is I will only say that if I am lucky I could only dream to have a wife that Ingrid is to Mahesh uncle, a Mother to her amazing kids and a wonderful soul that has helped friends, neighbors and those in need and this could be attested by many that she has touched in her life.

To exemplify further, she is a women of class, intelligence, kindness and selflessly helping others. Her class is portrayed in the many manners when she has molded her self to be an Indian despite white midwestern roots to show utmost respect to her husband that hails from Indian roots, Her kindness and selflessly helping others nature is portrayed when she would send her young kids (back in the day – told to me by the neighbor himself) with food over to her neighbor when his wife would not be home so the husband didn’t sleep hungry. Her intelligence is exemplified by the wonderful morals and values she has installed in all her kids that have turned out nothing less than great people. Her loving nature to welcome any soul into her life is nothing less than being a true angel. She has also

Today I feel blessed to be in company of great friends and family members such as the Chandra Clad, from Kiran to Pradeep they all are simply awesome. Moreover they are all blessed with spouses that are nothing less than great people, Erin a true fun loving person, Seth a great guy from what I could tell, Ryan just a happy camper and the new addition to the family Peggy seems to be quite promising as well, I will leave it upto the chandras to decide on that ;)

It has truly been a blessing to spend a day this beautiful with truly beautiful people inside and out, I totally wish that time could have stopped and the fun never ended, but its time to move on to the week ahead and hit reality face on.

It has been a wonderful time with great friends that are nothing less than family and i cherish every moment i spent with them today. i can sleep with a smile that my day was spent with those that are great souls and friends that i could call for life.
